The Third Ward United Methodist Churches invite you to come to a free dental clinic at Emancipation Park on May 17-18, 2019 (Emancipation Park-3018 Emancipation Avenue, Houston, TX 77004). The time for both days is 5:30 a.m.-5:00 p.m. (First Come, First Serve).
Texas Mission of Mercy (TMOM) is a mobile dental clinic that travels around the state providing basic dental care (including cleanings, fillings, and extractions) free of charge to uninsured and under insured Texans. Treatment provided at a TMOM is focused on relieving pain.
TMOM is a program of the Texas Dental Association Smiles Foundation (TDASF). As the charitable arm of the Texas Dental Association, TDASF's mission is to educate the public about oral health and improve access to care for citizens of Texas. The goal of the Houston TMOM is to provide 800-1,000 patients with approximately $600,000 worth of charitable dental care.
